Frequently asked questions

Can the flue pipe be installed vertically?

We don't advise installing the flue pipe vertically, as condensate will flow back and damage the unit. Please hire a professional if you have to install it vertically.

Where can I buy additional flue pipes?

You can buy heat-resistant, flame-retardant stainless steel flue pipes from local hardware shops or online stores. The ideal diameter is 2.36 inches, and pipes larger than 2.4 inches won't fit. Do not use PVC pipes. Keep the ventilation holes unblocked to avoid air pressure issues, and do not connect the pipe to a shared chimney flue.

Can the indoor unit be installed outdoors?

Indoor models are not designed for outdoor installation. Strong wind, heavy rain and snow will shorten the service life of the unit.

This water heater has LPG and NG versions. Can these two models be converted for use with the other type of gas?

This appliance is preset for a specific gas at the factory. LPG and natural gas models are not interchangeable. Any alterations will lead to permanent damage.

I connected the gas pipe and water pipe incorrectly and turned on the unit. After reconnecting them properly, can the water heater still work normally?

This won't work. The unit has sustained irreversible damage due to misconnected pipes. Always check that water and gas lines are properly fitted before use.
